The emphasis in the LDP is on an individual's leadership development and the energy they are prepared to exert in order to improve themselves. The profile is designed for leaders who may not have direct reports. Being a single, self rating profile it is great for those who do not wish to presently involve others in their Leadership development.

This is achieved through the completion of a self-questionnaire which asks you which specific leadership behaviours you wish to develop further. This allows an individual to identify specific areas where their leadership capabilities can be improved to enhance their leadership performance. Once completed the output profile provides the areas where they have indicated they would like to develop the most and provides them with specific item advice to assist them in doing this.

The Leadership Development Profile is invaluable for:

  • Learning about Leadership Behaviours
  • Setting development priorities
  • Identifying areas of motivation
  • Continuing professional development
  • Receiving leadership guidance on areas you wish to exert energy to develop

A research manual for this profile is available and is periodically updated taking into account the new norm data.
